OUR PHILOSOPHY:

The wines of Bodegas VIÑA IJALBA, are the result of vineyards (viñedos) planted traditionally with the best bio-organic techniques, a new bodega using modern technology, and a totally original philosophy of wine making. The bottle is unique in the world of wine with double weight UV resistant glass, color coded pewter capsules, elegant label design and informative UPC coded back labels. VIÑA IJALBA is a "Rioja" producer offering the consumer unique wines of the highest quality standard.

  • Genoli Viura
    1997 Blanco. 100% Viura.
  • Aloque Rose
    Young Rosado. 50% Garnacha and 50% free run Tempranillo.
  • Livor Tinto
    Young Tinto. 100% Tempranillo. and 10% Mazuelo.
  • Solferino Tempranillo
    1996 Tinto. 100% Tempranillo. Fermentation using whole berries with traditional foot treading as practiced 100 years ago.
  • Ijalba Graciano
    1997 Classic Tinto. 100% Graciano. The first 100% varietal Graciano to be produced in the history of Rioja!
  • Múrice Crianza en Barrica
    1995 Tinto Crianza. 90% Tempranillo, 5% Graciano, 5% Mazuelo. One year of aging in new oak plus one year in the bottle.
  • Ijalba Reserva
    1994 Tinto Reserva. 90% Tempranillo, and 10% Graciano Two year aging in new oak plus two years aging in the bottle.
  • Ijalba Reserva Especial
    1990 Tinto Reserva Especial. 50% Graciano and 50% old vines Tempranillo. Two years aging in new oak plus two years aging in the bottle.
